"Let the beauty of what you love be what you do." Rumi

Here it is, my very first post. I feel as if I need to say something profound, but I need to begin, so profound will have to wait! I need to break the ice sometime, so I decided I would jump in today after coming across this awesome quote by Rumi! When in Turkey last March, I was able to visit the mosque where Rumi lies, so when I came across this quote, it resonated with me even more. This is exactly what I have been doing, taking photos of beautiful scenes as I travel through life, sometimes near and sometimes far. It is always fun to see which images find their way into my art!

Now I am off to work on my journal quilt for November which has "thanks" as its theme. I will post a photo of it when it is completed!
